G-DOSC DA42M was 'in the wild' yesterday on a mission from Old Sarum. The crew - sounding very civil - mention that the aircraft is Boscombe Down based. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XfQaHJ7GxLM&layer_token=6a8e39f4e6169bbd On SBS it is still using OE-FOG mode-S code with GDOSC in the Aircraft ID field. Not sure whether the G- reg is painted on the airframe now.

Over Christmas, it seems that DA42M OE-FOG wasn't decorated with tinsel but has been decorated with British civil registration G-DOSC. It hasn't been reported in the wild recently so I guess it's squirreled away in a hangar at Boscombe Down. It's not outside DO Systems' HQ at Old Sarum...I've checked. I guess it may have acquired RAF titles and the bandages have been taken off the UK Mil fin flash.
One of the QintetiQ Mil-17s at Boscombe Down 19-Dec-08. It was out in the early morning sunshine outside the Rotary Wing test Squadron hangar with a Merlin, Apache and Sea King for a photo shoot with all the aircrew. No doubt the photo will appear in 'QintetiQ News' soon. The sun disappeared but as you can see from the grainy enlargement here, the c/n has disappeared from the tail boom and the UK serial appears to be in black on the boom. I couldn't read it though.
