Point Mugu really is a nice place for a picnic; shelter from the sun and an array of missiles to entertain you if there's not much going on.
As an indication of what we saw flying on 16-Apr-2004: (rough n ready until I check serials, types, callsigns) in addition to the Gator party
Numerous California ANG C-130Es (and several others parked close to the Pacific Coast Hwy)
